Sunflower Room (3-6 years)

The children in the Sunflower Room are continuing their journey towards independence and self-discovery. During their daily activities the children can choose to engage in a wide variety of experiences such as art, craft, books, practical life activities, literacy and numeracy and cultural activities. In this room the Educators work with the children to follow and extend on their current interests and to ignite in them a life long passion for learning. 

The children in the Sunflower Room often choose to work outside in the outdoor classroom, especially for their art activities. They also enjoy caring for their classroom with activities such as window cleaning.

It is our goal for the children of the Sunflower Room to transition to school with a sense of independence, confidence and a love of learning.
